Man Kills Children At School

And he cried out mightily with a strong voice saying, ‘Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become the dwelling place of demons and the prison of every unclean spirit and the prison of every unclean and hateful bird.
Revelation 18:2

Today was a tragic day in America.

  • A young man used his right to bear arms to kill 20 children at an elementary school.
  • 3,800 women used their right to choose to kill the children growing in their womb.

12,000 people die every year due to gun related homicide in the United States while 1.4 million children are aborted in the same time frame.

The problem with America is not guns.

  1. It is truly remarkable the amount of vitriolic hypocrisy of certain groups. While admonishing pro-life people to keep their mouths shut and piously adding that, “This is not the time”, they blissfully ignore those who, with appropriate solemnity, exploit the tragedy to further their agenda to ban guns. Tell me – will there ever be an appropriate time for pro-life advocates to broach this subject? The intent of this post was to point out the hypocrisy of the response to this tragedy and the inevitable, “Should we or shouldn’t we ban guns” debate. I brought up the abortion angle because from my point of view it was relevant. I believe that those precious children deserved to live at all points of their lives while others believe that at some point they were expendable. So since the ban guns crowd are all over this like white on rice don’t even bother trying to lay a guilt trip on me.
